Rosie Moves in With Her New GF

On Perez Hilton's blog he wrote about Rosie O'Donnell new relationship with her girlfriend. The very first thing he mentioned was the fact that she and her former girlfriend of 12 years had just broken up not long ago. He went on to add that she and her new girlfriend Tracy Kachtick-Anders are moving together a long with Rosie’s four children an Anders’ six children. I found it quite interesting that Perez Hilton (who is gay himself) stressed the fact that Rosie and her new girlfriend were moving in to together already and starting a family. This is an example of homosexual visibility the media. I think in this situation the media is criticizing Rosie’s choices and although gay people are in the media the media’s intention is not to promote equality bout to criticize and divide. I think that Rosie’s decision about her new relationship and family are no different that many heterosexual American’s choices.
