Fringe "Unearthed" Law enforcment becomes Paparazzi

Finally, a show that has replaced the 1998 television show The X-Files. Fringe is a science fiction show that performs experiments on the Fringe of real science. A extremely intelligent Walter was recently institutionalized for being a crazy man. He used humans as his test subjects. He could see dead peoples memories, teleport, and make strange mutated creatures. There is always an explanation for everything that happens on this show. Peter who is Walter's son is always keeping Walter in line and making sure that he does not get in to any trouble and is a pretty bad ass guy even though we do not know anything about his life. Agent Olivia Dunham and Broyles are FBI agents that make sure when a out of the ordinary case turns up that no one can explain it goes straight to Walter because he can always make some sense out of it.

In a recent episode named "Unearthed" There was a town by the name of Edina. This town was very small and there was a military base in the town. There was a young boy who ran away from home and a police officer from the next town picked him up and took him to the police station. On the way there the what seemed to be a normal boy "shape shifted" in to a hideous creature. The police were freaked out because they had heard stories of the creature but had never seen one. They even had drawings and eyewitnesses of the creatures but had never seen one. A little while later two men came in that had found out the boy was there and they killed the three police officers.

The FBI was then called in and the Fringe team was put on the job when they found the photo of the creature. There was a strange humming sound that Walter had heard before but he did not know what it was. The Sheriff told him that it was the military base down the road because of some generators. On the way out of the town a man followed Olivia and Peter and began shooting at them hoping to kill them. Instead, Peter killed him. Walter then remember back at the lab he had seen these people before and he remembered Edward Cobb a former colleague that he had worked on Project Elephant with, at the Military base.

Back in the town the residents had joined together and the sheriff was there talking about what they were going to do about the FBI. They did not want them investigating the town for some reason. The sheriff and a couple of residents were going to kill the agent when they came back like they had done before. Walter on the other hand had figured out that the people were not shape shifting, and that the hum they heard was a machine and a sound coming from the tower that would alter our perception of the people when they were in range of the machine. The people were actually always deformed. They had been given a choice by Edward Cobb to stay in the town and live a happy normal life or leave the town and live as deformed humans. They felt normal in the town, so they all stayed. The people that killed the police were arrested and dealt with. The rest of the town got to keep the machine on and the FBI never said a word about it.

The people just wanted to be left alone. I know I know thats a lot to take in if you have not seen the show but, I feel as though the people in the town were like the celebrities and the FBI like paparazzi. The celebrities just want to be left alone in the privacy of their own homes and I believe they deserve it. They are human beings as well and do not need pictures of them all over People magazine sunbathing at their pool. The paparazzi today are like the FBI in this episode because they would not let the people be even though there was no real need to keep investigating once the killers were found. The town was getting mad that the FBI would not let them be so they took action just like some celebrities do when paparazzi put the camera in their face when they are walking down the street with their kids. Some times people need to know when to back off a little and give them space.
